What we collect

• Nominations: the nominator's name, email and phone number; the nominee's name, contact details, location and the reasons given for the nomination.
• Voting: the voter's name and email address, the votes cast, and technical information such as IP address used to detect fraudulent voting.
• Enquiries: any information you send us by email.

How we use it

• To administer nominations, voting, judging and the gala night.
• To contact nominators and nominees about their nomination.
• To protect the integrity of the vote.
• To publish approved nominees, finalists and winners. Nominator and voter details are never published.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with sponsors without your consent.

Storage and security

Information is stored with reputable cloud providers, in Australian data centres where available, with access limited to committee members who need it. Voter records are deleted within 12 months of the awards concluding.

Access and correction

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw a nomination, by emailing info@example.org.au.
